Both artists' share a deep affinity with KZN's landscapes and it's people.
Alain, better known as owner of Spectrum- the art shop underneath the gallery, had been painting scenes he had photographed whilst driving through KZN's countryside en route to various holiday destinations with his family. This was his debut as an artist.
Joseph, an accomplished artist since the mid 1980's and customer in Alain's shop, had been painting scenes of the daily struggles and joys of KZN'z rural and city folk, hence the idea for a joint exhibition.
They were also very pleased to have included works by young and aspiring watercolourist, Emil Maehler.
